Excellent coditions most of the day with a touch of a breeze early afternoon. Busy for a weekday because of school holidays. Sunny. Offshore early and late. Waves about head-high.
- By 2pm it was for kites and windsurfers as the southerly wind reached force 5 but until about 11:30am there was clean chest high surf on offer. Glorious day compared to Sunday.
- Monday morning offered fun waves about shoulder high and clean until the sotherly breeze arrived at about 11am. You appreaciate what a classy spot Makorori is when a mish-mash of weak small swells can still be so worthwhile.
- Sunday saw more cloud and less swell than Saturday with longer gaps between sets but otherwise very similar surf. Clean, waist to shoulder high and breaking too straight apart from at a couple of spots.
- Light offshore wind and increasing high cloud with clean waves around shoulder to head-high in the middle of the bay at high tide. Mostly breaking too straight but now and then a good shoulder to be had alongside a rip.

- Clean small surf early morning but the NE breeze increased an hour or so earlier than forecast. Most of the SSW swell is going past so only waist to chest high waves.
- Glagah
- The falling spring tide was not ideal until low tide after it goit dark but the waves were a good shape and about shoulder-high with no wind and nobody else there. I would guess that Scnappers was better, but busy.

The waves were knee high at best,it was hard to catch waves on a longboard let alone a short board. I would rate it 2/10 just because the little barrels were satisfying
