Smaller than expected. The wind forecast was right (quite a strong cross-off); the swell period was as expected (say 15 seconds) but the sets were far apart and only shoulder high and the tide had to fall quite far before anything peeled (after this image). Dolphins, rays, seals and even a small shark all visited the bay to add interest.
