Situated on the west coast of the island, St Ouen's Bay is the home of Jersey surfing and features numerous surf breaks along it's 5 mile stretch. Like any other beach break, the wave quality varies according to swell direction, wind and tide. However, with Jersey's huge tidal change twice a day, the waves here are affected even moreso by the size of tide. Wave quality can vary from slop to smooth glassy walls. A beautiful bay to surf, whatever the conditions.
