Chancay in Lima is a sheltered point break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the east southeast. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. Both left and right reef breaks. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It very rarely gets crowded here. Beware of urchins and rocks, thefts.
