Stoney Rise Surf Guide

Stoney Rise on the East Coast is an exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the east. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and there is also a left hand reef break.. Best around mid tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for rips and sharks.
