Maine Surf Breaks

Maine can get some decent swells roll through, which cater for a handful of surfers but in general doesn't get the surf I'm sure the coast would like. The odd Hurricane swells from the NE can create surf up and down the coast, large swells from the south are blocked by Cape Cod. Mainly sandy beaches with coves facing every angle a coast can face although with accessibility being a problem for many. Parking can be difficult and/or expensive in summer months where most places it's free in the winter, when is best to surf anyway.
